I’ve seen some really beautiful cakes out there recently, so I’d wanted to share them with you for a while, but then the bake off started and I thought – what better time!? So I have compiled for you a blog post of two halves. It starts with the visual, some great ideas for ways to decorate and style cakes, whether it be for birthdays or weddings or anything in between, there’s some really creative things happening in cake decorating today. Also I’ll be honest with you, sometimes I like looking at cakes more than eating them! But the second half of the post is all about flavour with a collection of mouthwatering recipes. And if you’re not interested in any of that there’s some design freebies for you. A cute cake themed phone wallpaper and a quote poster to download and decorate your space. And right at the end some cake themed bits and pieces including ways you can incorporate cake ascetic into your life without having to load up on those calories!
