FOCUS ON: WES ANDERSON
FOCUS ON: WES ANDERSON
It could be argued that never before has a director had so much of a signature style in so many different disciplines that it has become a cultural genre all of it’s own, from typography, visual style, symmetry itself, to architecture, colour, fashion, interior design, and graphic design, Wes Anderson’s style has permeated and influenced all of these areas in one way or another.
I have curated a post for you bringing together works inspired by Wes Anderson, images that reflect his style and still from his movies.
I hope they in turn inspire you to watch any of his movies you may have missed (I’ve ranked them in order of my favourite at the end of this post) or to create something using his beautiful colour palette or symmetrical style.
If you’re a fan of Wes Anderson’s films and you’ve seen them all already i’ve also included a list of films you might like to watch by other great directors, some influencers of Anderson, some influenced by him and others are his contemporaries.
