INSPIRATION: ART & DESIGN: CLAUDIA FONTES

There is a fine line between beautiful and haunting and the sculptural work of artist Claudia Fontes skirts that line. I imagine especially terrifying for those with Trypophobia (a phobia of small holes), the textures in these sculptures are mesmerising - I especially like the spore-like creation, the way the fingers of the figure interacts with the bobbly texture makes you want to reach out and touch it.

Fontes The Horse Problem, is grand and beautiful and was featured at the Pavilion of Argentina at the Biennale Arte 2017.
