INSPIRATION: ART & DESIGN: RICARDO BOFILL

Even if you’ve not heard the name Ricardo Bofill before, you would have most probably seen one of his creations on instagram or pinterest if you like looking at design or architecture.

I love the colours in these buildings, the unusual shapes and outside spaces, so different from anything you can find in England. 

I particularly love:

• The use of pinks

• The use of a mix of pink, blue and red

• The concrete building on the water

• Concrete arches

• Beautiful colourful tiles

• Curved walls

• Open concrete structures

• Greenery overgrowing the concrete

• Huge windows with light coming though the long long curtains

• Many curved windows

• Buildings made from what looks like multiple shapes added together

• The retro futuristic style

• The slight look of the apocalyptic about it

• The many tiny little roof areas

• Beautiful roof gardens

• The beautiful colour green of the exterior space
