INSPIRATION: FASHION: THE STYLE OF: DIANE KEATON + FREEBIE

Diane Keaton has been a style icon for decades and she continues to push boundaries and surprise fans with her ever evolving style. From her manish ties in Annie Hall, to her all black but daring outfits she’s wearing today, and the hats! Don't forget the hats! Diane Keaton sure knows how to accessorise! I’ve broken down some of key features to steal from her looks and collected a whole bunch of outfits for inspiration.

Full Skirts - Diane makes these styles work, whether in a feminine floral print or with a more gothic or androgynous top.
Boots - boots with heels and platforms - black boots, leopard print boots.
White - Diane Keaton can wear white like I would never dare. All white outfits are a brave choice but Diane has rocked them consistently well.
Leather - Diane wears all black outfits but sometimes adds some leather into the mix to add another element to the outfit. Black leather skirts and sometimes even black leather dresses feature in some of her best looks.

The most iconic thing about Diane Keaton, it’s not just the clothes she wears or her bravery in trying new things; it’s her attitude to life, she’s got a fantastic sense of humour, she doesn't seem to be trying to hide her age; she’s trying to embrace it without treating it like a hindrance or something to be scared of and most importantly she’s always wearing a smile and it goes to show that it doesn't matter what you wear on your body it’s always enhanced by confidence, happiness and a love of life.
