According to co-star Regina Hall who plays divorcee Carmel, Nicole Kidman maintained the Russian accent throughout the entirety of filming (six months) and didn't resume her Australian accent until filming wrapped.

MY VERDICT: I binged this mini series incredibly quickly. It’s a bit out there and not very realistic in a lot of ways and a bit over the top in a fun way. The acting and the actors are what make it what it is though, every single performance is great. The show itself has a lot going on, almost too much with many deep subjects like grief and addiction mixed with surreal moments and humorous undertones. I don’t think this will be for everyone by any means and I think out of all the performances Nicole Kidman’s is the most distracting but I would recommend you give it a go because it’s a bit of fun.
