In this harrowing docuseries, a cruel conman masquerading as a British spy manipulates and steals from his victims, leaving ruined families in his wake.

MY VERDICT: This story is a crazy one and the series is really good at setting out in a logical way how normal, every day, intelligent people can believe what seem like impossible stories. The saddest part of it is meeting the family of a woman who seems to still be under the power of, and unable to leave, a diabolically evil man.
